July 2018 - Monthly Muse - In Memory of Dawn Week #3

I wish I would have seen this at the beginning of the month. I've never been here before but I saw all these beautiful layouts and had to see what was going on.

 

There is still plenty of time to play! These Muse's are here to inspire all month long. This month about Dawn is particularly special!!

 

Yes, jump in @Trish - so far I had only done one. I was just working on week/muse #2 today. You don't have to do them in the week's time frame - you have the whole month. I know you do beautiful work with Dawn's kits!

 

Enjoyed making this page - Dawn's paper tears are simply awesome.

I just did one for the Random Challenge using a kit of Dawn's today not knowing about this challenge.

 

Ok, I'm back with my week #3 layout. I used paper tears, gesso, stamps, paint and wanted to mask to look like it's popping out of the tears.

My inspiration for this was Dawn's love of animals and whimsy. We took our grandson to the Seattle waterfront last week, where we had fish and chips at Ivar's. The seagulls are so tame because of all the french fries they are treated to, that they stay THIS CLOSE to anyone who looks like they might have food! This photo was not edited in any way...no zoom lens either!

 

I don't use tears often enough. Thank you for the muse.
