January 9: Your 2021 Year-In-Review

Pictures and words are done, but still have to figure the background and it is after 1 am... going to wait till morning to finish it off... quite a challenge... and interesting...Lots of really great pages....
 
This was a challenge, 2021 wasn't the best year for me, but scrolling to pictures and making this review made me realize there where some highlights too. Thank you!

 
2021 had a lot of BIG moments mixed in with the every day. I do love highlights like this because it's easy to get bogged down in everything negative or hard, and 2021 was extra hard, but seeing highlights together shows there was something pretty amazing every month to be thankful for.

 
I apologize for the very dark layout. 2021 was truly the worst year of my life. I had five different awful and traumatic things occur. I know the theme was supposed to be highlights and what you want to remember, but honestly there were none of those, so I went with just documenting how I felt each month about what was happening.

I'm participating in MOC this year to art journal and try to work through some of this and it surprisingly turned out to be pretty therapeutic to get these emotions out this way.

I took almost no photos, so I had to work with what I had (blurry accidental selfie and clouds etc) and then fill in with some photos I took for this challenge: May, September and October - the trees in my backyard, and July is the side of my house (I recolored it pink). Hopefully this meets the challenge requirements.
