The story of 2023, week 1

Journaling (very loosely) translated:
This year I joined a jigsaw puzzle competition, something I've been wanting to do for a long time. One of my collegaes apparently always does this with a friend and her sister. This was the first time they competed in my town and they were looking for a number 4. My sister and I had just looked at singing up the weekend before, but it was already sold out. So I jumped in and joined this team. It truly was an incredible experience, like they played the national anthem at the start and you really in a bubble for 2,5 hours. We ended up in 16th place, which was within the first half of teams.

Here's my layout for this challenge to use multiple photos to tell a story. My layout has 5 photos from our annual Christmas photo shoot at our local botanical conservatory. It's always amazing to see the seasonal display they set up and find the best photo spots for our photos. We use a tripod & go when fewer people are there. These are our 5 favorite photos of the 16 we took that day.
