January 5: Clean & Simple Style

Phew! I really struggle with clean and simple, but I loved the challenge! :)



I have 5 extra elements:
1- PAID stamp
2- date "recorded" stamp
3- receipt element
4- check mark on receipt
5- "+" stamp
 
Here is mine

Background Paper
Paint Splatter

4.Doodle Squiggle line
5. Flower

 
This was hard for me. I really am uncomfortable with all that empty space. But, oddly enough, I like it when other people scrap like this.

I'm always refreshed by the clean and simple challenge ... even though it's not my typical style I find it to be really soothing. Thanks for the challenge!

Neutral background, 1 photo, ribbon, button row (the buttons are all in one element file from designer), word art, scatter, small bit of journaling

 
White space is SOOO hard for me. Leaving all the blank area feels wrong somehow - like I want to get my money's worth! lol That being said, here is my layout. I did use all 5 of the extra items: frame, balloon stamp, word art stamp, word art cluster and bracket.
