So... I use Scrapbook Max. This is a rather difficult challenge for me.
I chose a wood style distressed paper and clipped it to my font. Then I added a border around the letters in the same brown as the wood to give it depth and the look of wood chip letters.
    I hope this is acceptable.

I never think to use styles, but they really are an easy to play with a LO! Thank you for the styles!
I used a distressing style and metal rim style for my title.

I used the thin acrylic style in this month's BYOC styles!

I used a style called "sun faded photo" on the Bryant Park alpha. Perfect color for the page!

I used a birch style on the bottom stamp layer and a glitter style on the wire outline

I used the 'embossed kraft' style on my title, rasterised it and then applied the 'metal rim' style.

Thanks for the challenge, Leah. I clipped a paper to my title, then added the Photo Edge (reduced it to 5) and shadowed.

Hi There! CS is Photoshop Creative Suite - CC is Photoshop Creative Cloud.

For the challenge if you are not able to use styles in your program you can instead "clip" papers to your title and work on adding effects that are available in your program. (outer glows, bevels, etc) I hope this helps! (I'm happy to look up various ways to achieve text effects in your program to help you out <3)

This was fun. I think I'll use this technique more often. I used one of your watercolor styles on the title.
