my cover page for 2017 and my layout for the stylen titles chalange in moc5. i used the wood 2017 element then changed it to glitter, copied the layer then used mommyish pl template actions to shrink it down a few then added justjaimes shadow styles to add the black outline
I made the word ZOO, using paper from Paula Kesselring Wild Thing kit. I used the zebra skin paper as a mask and the font Bauhuas 93 (pictured in black above the word zoo)
I used a Mommyish chipboard style on the DeHangster font, then clipped a color adjustment layer to the font as well. The "17" is an alpha, with just a paper shadow added to it.
So I'm a GIMP user....so no styles for me. Are there any other GIMP users here?? I just can't see paying all that money for photoshop. Anyway, I've got my plan! Off to make my page. I had a killer headache yesterday and just couldn't sit at the computer long enough to make a page.
Here is mine! I use The Gimp so no PSE styles for me, unfortunately. I used the font Bira for the title (nice & bold), expanded the selection by 15px, added a paper to it, duplicated the text and played around with layer mode and transparency and this is what I ended up with, some sort of semi-translucent-inner-shadowed-thing... fun, though! Thanks for forcing me to try out all those toggles and buttons and things!
Ok here it is, maybe not the most inventive of styles, but I had to use a tartan, she is so super cute in that blanket.I clipped recoloured paper to a stencil made from a font called Gill sans ultra bold. copied and pasted the letters, Added a bevel to the top and made the one under them dark gray, and put them in the back with a small glitter style applied to the edge. by the way this is the " original " Nemla lol
The kit I chose to use didn't have an alpha, so I used an alpha from another kit, clipped a paper from the kit I was using, and added a canvas filter. I also clipped a paper to the font I used for the word "Beauty" and then adjusted the 'curves' so it would stand out a bit more.
