Well, I sort of went my own way with the blending - and I really want to work on this more going forward. But, I'm really happy with the page! I took the photos on Monday on my walk on the beach. I had intended to scrap with the 2022 - I usually find one of these each year on January 1, sometimes made with shells, and the tide had almost gotten this one, so I had to "rewrite" it, but... LOL! ETA: I redid my blend - I decided to play some more with the technique and achieved a blend I was happier with. : )
I blended a photo of me and my daughter into the background and played with the hue.. I hope that is ok?
Mine thank you for the challenge . Decided to do a new page for the actual challenge, instead of the speed scrap double dip..The blend is much better on this one
This was so much fun once I figured it out! I am not so good with the masks, ha! For some reason the painting with the black/white thing confuses me. (I found a really good tutorial if anyone needs one) I took a photo of the sky in our backyard, looking up at the trees and blended it with a marbled paper from Allison Pennington (which I recolored to match the sky). MOC10-Day4-Blended-Photo: This photo, duplicated and blended together to create the illusion the river continuing was taken on New Year's Day. What started as a perfect day, ended in us almost sliding off the road due to the ice. We honestly believed the ice / snow was mostly melted, it was dicey and frightening, especially because I had forgotten the snow chains, but we made it (thanks to God I'm sure and the constant praying). We cut our multi waterfall tour short after this experience we just wanted to go home! Beautiful photos too, I was so shaken I only snapped a couple shots - my daughter got a few, but she was scared too. This is Cedar Creek Grist Mill in WA state. The dogs had fun tho. i tryed and tryed, but couldn't figure this out, does this count. The canvas was 5/7, i had no background but graident made one ??
I was totally inspired by your beach photo, so I went to our beach at lunch and snapped a quick (and much colder than yours) photo. I blended the top and the bottom:
