JANUARY 3rd: ART INSPIRATION

My creative juices are not flowing today. But I did love this challenge and the painting that inspired it!!

 

I was inspired by the leaves, so I chose a picture of a leaf and the tree trunk so a wood background. I also incorporated the colours yellow and blue plus the yellow painty bits for the tree leaves.

 

Here is mine... Inspired by the Vertical-ness, Outdoors, and the Blue/Yellow/Orange colors. Thank you!

Such an inspiring challenge. I found myself going in so many directions with this but finally settled on the blue sky (I used brushes to give a cloud look too), yellow and paint. Took me forever to extract the large flower from one of the many copies of my original photo but I finally got all those "marching ants" to connect. lol!

 

Seeing the artwork reminded me of a photo that I had created using the Circular iphone app so had to scrap that:

I took orange color and combined to black from trees . Orange is so strange colour for me that this was real challenge to me

 

I was inspired by the flowery and tree elements I used a lot more leafy elements than normal.
