Over time (series of watches growing ever smaller) the girl that I was saw many wishes, hopes, and dreams come true helping to shape the woman that I am now. Through all that, though, I feel that my essential self has always had my feet on the ground, but my soul in the stars.
Great challenge - thanks!
I added elements to represent photography, knitting, reading, beach, child of the King (crown), glasses, baking, memory keeping and travel.
Blue represents the depression I sometimes deal with.
Green represents the earth that helps pull me away from the blue.
The butterflies represent the wings I've grown.
The lock and key remind me that I sometimes hold the key to the lock.
The blueprint and swatch represents the work I do and a big source of my identity.
What a cool challenge to finish off MOC10!
I decided to use the only art form I practice (digital scrapbooking) to represent myself by using a big screen as the main item and putting all the things that define me all over.
The background is chevron to represent the ups and downs of my thought process for anything.
The way the elements are scattered on the screen is how I function: always many windows and files open, many tabs in my browser, many many thoughts in my brain all competing for attention.
The wordart pieces are all phrase that define me.
The elements are a mixture of who I am and what I like.
And at the last minute, I decided to add a photo taken from my laptop camera. I guess this is what I look like to my computer, lol
Background = my favorite colors
Photo = a daring photo of me as I'm a plus sized, body positive personal trainer
Eiffel Tower and foreign coins - because I love to travel, and Paris and China are two of my favorite places.
Breathe flair = I'm a yoga instructor
Camera flair = photography hobby
Musical note = Zumba instructor and musician
Cat = I love cats and have had 3 black cats
I started with a purple background because it's my favorite color.
The image of me is just an outline and not very defined because even at my age, I don't feel defined.
I put all the ellies that spoke to me into a pocket because I prefer to not share a lot of myself in most cases.
All the splats and stains and blends represent how life is often messy.
The word strip at the bottom is me throwing out some attitude, lol.
