Oooohhhh... this was super fun... here's my take

Clips are no different than other elements Jennifer. Basically it is more of a shadow effect. I did a tutorial a while back Re a folded flower (https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/how-to-fold-elements.63410/) with a clip that might help a bit but generally it is no different than putting the clothes pin, or whatever you are using to attach everything to, at the top of the layer panel and have your dangle string, chain etc underneath.

Thanks @cfile, if you can believe it I’ve never used any other attachments that aren’t a staple, stitch or button on occasion so this is all new to me.

I'm not loving what I've come up with so far as a photoless layout....I do want to tell the story but this challenge might not be the right one for the story. Not sure if I should just get the layout done in the hopes it "works" for the challenge or just write the journaling out and save the story for a different layout

thank you for this interesting challenge. I hope I got it right.
When I finished the star of the page turned out to be the bigger photo, so I've edited the page so that there is a hanger for that photo too. The edit shows up in the gallery, but isn't showing here at the moment.

I've written the story down and will rest on it with the hopes I can visualize a layout. I hate being "behind" by more than a day or so this early on. I think it wasn't coming together as I couldn't easily come up with a layout I like that met the challenge (I know it sounds like I'm annoyed or something, but I'm really not....its just not a challenge that comes super natural to me)
