With "Hear My Voice: Remembering" https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/moc-day-23-colour-victoria-street.560192/ I am not a fan of bold yellow flowers, I find them way too brash. Don’t ask me for the logic behind that, since I love yellow clothes (My favourite cardigan is a rich yellow, and I even have a pair of cheerful yellow shoes!). I love touches of yellow in interior design as well. My current favourite corner has a yellow bird print we bought while on a couples retreat in the early days of ‘take two’. It is above one of the cane chairs with a yellow throw and a gorgeous cushion with a yellow linocut design. When it came to painting the door of M’s sleepout I knew I wanted something bold, and decided on the delicious ‘Victoria Street’, matched with pink geraniums. I didn’t initially plan it, but it was the exact same combo of the adirondack chair I painted and the flowers I planted by the door at our old house years ago. Wish I had kept the chair, but there was no room for it in the apartment I left that home for.
Thanks for hosting Courtney! My 12 words: I grew up loving Broncos orange. Now it's orange leaves & pumpkins.
@bestcee , thanks for the response! I've added the title, but it's tucked in a little bit I really thought I'd scrap about my favorite color, but went with green instead ... the journaling explains it all
Journaling Reads: Periwinkle is one of my favorite colors. I has my colors done and was thrilled to find that it is one of my Soft Autumn colors so I am drawn to it naturally. I love all of the blue/violet colors in nature, in clothing and in art as well. It is a calming, soothing color, but it is also strong and rich. Lilypad Products: NBK Designs Bloom All in One Bundle
I have loved the color green for as long as I can remember. Thanks for having us scrap about this connection.
