This was interesting for me. Have used my Storybook Creator 4 for over a decade and got a new computer this weekend, purchased the new Artisan 6 and was able to do this challenge as the first layout on my new program. My old SBC (which I did love) could not have done the shape save/cut out like Artisan can.

OMG! I loved the technique, but it was difficult to get it to work as I couldn't get rid of the shape behind it. But I persevered and got the look I wanted. Thank you @Scrapping with Liz for the shapes and @amandac for the fun challenge! Woo hoo!! I hope the arrow shape of Florida is obvi!

Wow! That was tough! I recently stepped off the full photoshop subscription to the Elements program. My brain was so stuck on how I would do this in the fancy program that I just couldn't wrap my head around how to get the job done in this one! Whew, was I relieved when I finally got it to click!! I am so glad to add another cute Chico picture to our scrapbook! He deserves all the pages because he's such a sweetie!!
