Whee! I really enjoyed learning this technique and experimenting with different values for the transformations. Thank you! The quality difference with the low-res gallery-sized image is killing me with this one, I think it's something about losing some of the texture contrast between the mosaic and the non-mosaic photos. A long way of saying I think this one looks nicer on my computer
There are no words on my LO because I liked the serenity of it and felt the words would intrude on that....This is the view from my car as I drove to visit my daughter in college. original photo which was scrapped
This was so fun! It took me a bit to find an image that worked, but I love the result! Here's the original photo:
Thank you for the tutorial. I had seen the post on PRD's blog and wanted to try that look. I blended the mosaic to the woodgrain paper. And I hope I've understoond correctly that it's not required to have a "normal" photo on our page, correct? Here is my original photo. It's actually a sunrise, not a sunset.
Awesome technique! I didn't like how it really came out on this page, but I can see that it has some great potential to show up on a future page! I'll be hunting for other photos to take so I can do this again! Here's my photo: And the page (the photo is also here):
I will certainly use this again! I had it so many ways it was hard to pick just one. Thanks for a great challenge and for supplying the links for all programs! This is my original photo
