I forgot to post this:

 

I'll post my week five here since it only includes January... our Saturday (2/1) will eventually be it's own two page spread once I get the pictures from the dance competition.

 

This year I decided to use the collect app to take a photo a day (thanks MelanieB!).. You can add a line of text and export the cards to your camera roll. I have extra pockets to add a weekly review and any other things I want to highlight. I'm doing one page per week.. So for Jan I have 5 pages. Last year I tried to do one two page spread a month but had a hard team narrowing it down. Anyway so far so good.. Thought I'd post here even though it's a little different approach.

 

Amidst all the MOC finishing, I forgot to post my Week 4:

 

Nicole, I love that approach! And I'm glad you decided to post here! Anything goes - it most certainly doesn't have to be a traditional approach to PL for it to be posted here! This looks like a great approach, and a great way to stay on track!

 

and bestcee, i LOVE what happens when mom cleans up the toys!! this happens around here from time to time as well!

okay.... I've finished up january. I always end up with random leftover photos at the end of the month. So, I decided to use the idea from the persnickety prints blog and made a spread with the leftovers.

 

that really is a great idea!!

Thanks everyone! I really think I'm going to like this idea! I always had leftovers last year (or photos I forgot about until after I was done with my week) and it bugged me not to use them. Here's the link to the blog post if you're interested...
