Good for you - I've always wanted to learn to knit - I see you are in Chicago too - I'm sure your daughter is really going to appreciate that blanket with the weather you all have been having!
Week 4 - Done! Tali- I love your "frames" around the photos and how some are black & white and some are colored - really easy to move your eye around the page - hey! my week 4 has Monster Trucks also! Gorgeous pages!
I would gladly give you some... I'm soooo DONE w/ winter lol!!! Gorgeous photos... I just love how photocentric your pages are
I really wanted to do this last year, but I got intimidated and never started. The MOC prompt gave me a kick in the butt, so I'm trying it for this year!! I'm two weeks down. (Is there an enabling thread or a favorite products thread? I need to stock up, lol!) Week 1 Week 2
I'm so glad you are doing this! It's my 1st year, too (well, did monthly spreads last year but they were actually harder). Re: enabling threads... we are definitely going to be adding these in this forum so be on he look out. And here are a couple (sort of) to browse through... https://the-lilypad.com/forums/showthread.php/30122-Which-Font https://the-lilypad.com/forums/showthread.php/29948-What-do-you-use-for-PL-backgrounds https://the-lilypad.com/forums/showthread.php/29563-ENABLE-ME-Date-Cards https://the-lilypad.com/forums/showthread.php/29602-Week-In-Review-Cards https://the-lilypad.com/forums/showthread.php/29551-Templates-for-PL I may need to summarize these somewhere and add more... anything else in particular you want to see?
And your snowflake picture is *exactly* why! I got some of those macro filters for Christmas too and the only flakes I've got are cornflakes! Love your latest spread
Thanks, Jen! I have a font (Pea Valerie) and templates (a bunch of Valorie Wibbens). I think what I'm look for are basics, the little WAs that say "today" or "this happened" and journal cards. I think I'm going to be looking in Allison Pennington and Just Jaimee's stores today, but does any one have "basics" favorite products? (Should I start a thread? I don't want to duplicate, lol!)
I finally finished up last week--not super happy with it, but I am like Rebecca--it is done! and just did a 1 page for this week since I had so few photos:
Just finished up Week 5. It was a stretch for me, but I managed without /too/ many pictures of the dog.
My week 5: left side: right side: my insert for this week. I will cut down the middle and put in a 6x12 page protector. I am going to print it on one 12x12 sheet though to save money.
