January 19: Photography Challenge {Reflection}

I was super happy to find this photo. I had a blast last year doing a photo walk sponsored by the Apple store, and recall reflection being part of our "class". Keeping it simple as we spent many hours today getting ready for company tomorrow.

Took me quite a while to decide which photo/s to scrap... but finally decided upon these. You can see me taking a photo of the reflection of myself and two of my granddaughters in the carousel mirror.

Such amazing, picturesque photos for this challenge! I didn't have anything in my arsenal of photos, so I coerced my sons to pose for me today, lol. My oldest is holding one of our bathroom mirrors and I was able to get a photo of my middle son in its reflection.

I was so excited to do this page and when I finally found the photo I remembered that had the beautiful sunset reflection in the water, I found out it must have been taken with my old phone because the size was small!! I had envisioned this photo being the spotlight. Instead, I created a page with some of my favorite photos since the sunset reflection was small on a 300 dpi page. (There is a white spider in the calla lily!)
Thank you for the challenge. I like my page a lot, it's just not what I had in mind with the wonderful prompt!!!

This is an old photo but one of my favorites. It took me fifteen minutes of waiting and being eaten alive by Florida swamp mosquitoes until the heron moved into a place where I could get a shot of him and his reflection in the water...but as far as I'm concerned, it was all worth it.

I couldn't think what to do as I don't live anywhere near any lakes or bodies of water for reflection. Then I read the rules again and saw someone else with a mirror reflection! Suddenly, I knew just what to do and I am SO THANKFUL for this challenge @IntenseMagic as we just emptied out our ensuite today ready for the plumber and tiler to come in tomorrow and start ripping it out! We are getting it renovated and I wouldn't have thought to get 'Before' photos until it was too late! I LOVE the big photo that reflects how huge the room is through the mirror! Hopefully I'll get 'during' and 'after' photos to scrap too! Thanks for challenge!

Gotta LOVE google photos, I just typed in the search "reflection" and got loads of hits, making it hard to choose. But then I spotted our picture of the barber shop down Penny Lane in amongst the puddles and windows and lakes and decided on that one.
