Thanks for this challenge! I couldn't help but make a poem that made my family just laugh out loud! So, even though I did "family", they think I did "Comedy" too!!
@EHStudios - I have a question, just to confirm my layout is okay: I know you said no additional journaling, and I don't think what I did was journaling, but I want to make sure you agree. If it's a problem, I will remove it and re-post. I wanted to customize the patterned paper for the stage curtains and add names of our favorite comics - basically turn it into a patterned paper with subtle repeating text. I used layers with blending modes to do so; I tried to keep it subtle so it wouldn't detract at all from the acrostic as you indicated in the instructions.
Again, if you feel this is journaling rather than just the design tweak to the patterned paper I was going for, please let me know and I will remove it and re-post ASAP. Thank you!
Acrostics is fun.. but was surprisingly harder than I thought it would be. I don't normally use the word 'family' in my layouts as I feels it's too overused, but I'm happy with the way it fits into this one. I wish I'd had more time to spend on it but with the challenges piling up (and I'd spent entirely too long on the previous layout) I'm falling behind and it's making me nervious.
Yay! I'm now only 3 days behind...I really wanted to use family, but with comedy I was able to get my saying to say what I wanted. Thank you @EHStudios for the challenge!!
