January 15: Painted Edges

I had been thinking about these brushes for a long time! thanks for this challenge - AND our snow!

I couldn't wait to scrap these 2 photos of my DGS, Corbin, "homeschooling" Nova, their new dog. Nova looks like she is really engaged and interested! Made my day! Thanks for the challenge.

 

1-15-19 Painted Edges

My painted edges are the border around the layout.

This is my daughter and me in our matching jammies. She got them for us so we could be twins in a photo....she is lovely and silly and loving.

Ok I just got PSE 2019 for Christmas. Had PSE10 forever and never used it. I will stick with Artisan 5 right now and then go back and watch videos on how to do this. I have so many styles and brushes I have collected this past year so it will be a learning process.

 

Just to clarify- we are to create our own brush/painted edge and not use one already created from a kit, etc.

Mine too! I love them on traditional pages and cards!

That is correct Becki.. Create a painted edge with a paint brush Have fun cannot wait to see yours!!

 

I used brushes included in PSE 2018

 

Painted the edges of my background layer.

 

@bcgal00 I hope it is OK to use pre installed brushes to create your own boarder effect brush blended in layers, you wouldn't recognize it as that brush if I showed them to you.

 

Another challenge!! I never even knew this was possible in Artisan (thank you ladies who helped out with Artisan directions). Another technique I plan on playing more with in the future...thank you!!
