246 words! Journaling: My Mother-in-Law took this photo of our family on Bryan's 43rd birthday this January. I have to admit that when I pulled it off my camera and opened it that I choked up a little bit. There were multiple emotions that came flooding through my head while looking at each and every one of us. First of all, I'm rarely in the photos. I'm usually behind the camera. It's not that I hate to be in pictures, really. It's that I hate to bother others to take photos of me. It's easier for me to just pick up my camera and snap away. I smiled when I saw all of us together. I like seeing my tribe together in one photo. I'm going to ask more often. Then there is Ethan. That sweet little miracle. Just a year ago his Autism prevented him from looking at the camera. He just couldn't do it. And here he is looking straight at the camera on the first take. I believe in recovery and I believe in miracles. And those two girls? Those are my daughters. So beautiful, strong and taller than me at ages 13 and 11. My heart swelled with pride seeing them here looking so grown up. Finally, I see my husband turning another year older. How blessed I am to have him in my life. He is my rock and the very best father on the planet. I would say this photo is a keeper.
Thanks so much to everyone for participating! This challenge is now closed. I hope you had a GREAT MOC and created many layouts that you will treasure! Now take some time to slow down, breathe, and be happy with what you've accomplished - even if you didn't complete all of the challenges (like me!) you hopefully made a layout that challenged you, inspired you, and maybe became a new favorite layout.
