January 12: Everything Connected (all elements touching)

I made sure all the non-paint and non-scatter elements are touching at least one other element before adding the paint and scatters. Kind of a weird shaped garland, but it grew organically as I continued adding one item after another.

 

I have 2 photos, staples, wordstrip, taco, chips, date tag, 2 strings, flower, leaves, and 2 torn pages.

 

I have 2 papers (diagonal and scallop), 2 word arts (Moon, Astronaut), Moon, Earth, Astronaut, 3 stars, 2 flowers and a label.

 

I have 1 photo, 2 papers, 2 sets of stitches, 1 frame, 2 buttons, 1 piece of foliage, 1 bow, 1 tan flower, 2 labels

 

I connected: 2 tape frames, 1 reindeer bit, 1 paper bit (kraft with snowflakes), 1 word art, 1 glass, 1 button, 2 branches, 1 flower, 1 snowflake on a string, 1 snowman charm, 1 star with ribbon, 3 photos

 

What a fun challenge!

I used: 3 foliage pieces, 4 flower stickers, 2 labels, 1 pennant, 1 patch, i snow globe, 1 wordart, 1 fox sticker, 1 skis sticker, 1 antlers sticker, 1 resin deer, 1 twine, 1 crocheted snowflake, 3 buttons/flairs, 1 title, 1 photo, 1 photo mat.

I totally got inside my head on this one. And completely over thought it! Ended up doing 2 different layouts.

So a layout with a big cluster. I wasn't counting anything from the paint down. Everything above the paint touches something else. And I totally snagged this saying from someone else's layout during MOC.


And a cluster more like a chain:

 

3 photos, 1 notecard, 1 word strip, 3 flowers, 2 leaves, 2 buttons, title, all on 2 scalloped circles.

 

Elements: constellation (group of stars), green tape, scrap of blue paper, stitching with black thread, 2 different green leaves, blue flower, pink flower, white flower inflorescence, dark grey scotch tape, a strip of paper with the name on it, black paper with hearts.

I started out with 2 stacked frames and went from there to add 2 photos, 2 gold branches, 1 purple branch, journal strips (4 strips, came as 1 element), 2 stamps, 1 bird, 1 word strip, 1 glass button, 1 hanging tag, 3 letters, 4 numbers and a scatter of stars.
