JANUARY 10: Extraction with a Twist (Technique Challenge)

LOVE this challenge so much!!!!!!! Here is my page:

 

This one was really a hard challenge for me not because of the technique which is really easy but because this is not really my style... never mind it took me nealy a full week but I ended with something I like

It may have taken me a while to piece an idea together in my head but I LOVE how it turned out, and I would never have thought to scrap these pictures in this way if it weren't for your awesome challenge!! Extractions aren't something I do often, so thank you!!!

 

Eventually got there. I did the extraction/sticker thing and put it on the page, didn't really like it so hid it and finished the page with all of those stars for the repeated element challenge. Then thought that I spent such a long time on the extraction that I added it back in to a different place on the page and felt more comfortable with it (it's the balloon btw and it felt right to add it back in because it features in the journaling).

 

This was fun! I like the sticker extractions!

 

Well this took me far longer than it should have but it's my own fault for doing both a sticker out of bounds and another one - super fun though!

Anne do you know how hard it was for me not to get all picky and extract neatly around Miss Mai and the Lighthouse? Dang near impossible and it still grates just the teensiest bit…

Not my best layout, but I got the stickers made, I think I will use this technique again.

 

Thanks for the teaching me a new technique and the video, fun challenge!

 

Took me awhile to figure out which photo to make a sticker from and what style to make the page (I've throughly enjoyed looking through this thread at others creations...WOW!)

Finally...I am very happy with the results. I extracted a clover. Thank you Anne for a wonderful challenge and technique I'll be using again!
