Day 10 - Create a series of altered tags

Requirements:

• tags all the same size (after printing I had to cut little strips of the ones on the far left and right as they were hanging over the edge... I hope this still counts.)
• alterations: added paint splatter, stitching and parts of journal cards to the tags
• relatedness: all tags deal with food

 

This one was a stretch for me to start with and I got intimidated by all the gorgeous examples posted here. Eventually found a layout on pinterest that I could scraplift and based my layout on that. Hope it still works as each tag is definitely different but all go together.

Mine is about 4 types of species in The Netherlands that were in the news because of their status:

 

I feel like I've been working on this one forever -- definitely ended up taking it in a totally different direction than what I thought I was going.

 

January 10 - Tags

 

A difficult challenge for me, out of my comfort zone.

 

I was putting this off, and then I actually had a lot of fun with it!

 

Not really thrilled with this, but couldn't think of anything else to do.

Anne, your state tags reminded me that I, too, have 4 states to scrap about...
also - I went to 4 corners once as a child. I might appreciate it more now, as an adult... but as a child, i thought "whoop di doo, i can draw an X on the ground and pretend just as easily".

 

Jan 10 - Series of Altered Tags

I chose to highlight the Harley-Davidson dealerships that have been our 100th, 200th, 300th, and 400th store(s). We create a banner when we know we'll reach the next 100th, and then fill in the city of dealership and finally pose with the banner and our bike.
