January 1 - Elements

Whew! I made this about 18 hours later than I expected and there was a while this afternoon when I wondered if might have to fall behind already on Day 1 for the first time since my early MOC days many years ago. Now I'm done, back on track, and love my page. :love

I chose water- there is nothing more calming to me than listening to the ocean waves!
 
So this was supposed to be a quick, clean layout but that is not what I ended up with. I have a problem with adding more and more flowers. Once I started I could not stop :D
 
I chose Earth for this fantastic challenge, thanks Julie! It worked perfectly for this photo I took recently!

 
I chose air because I love watching the winds blow clouds across the sky, the importance of stopping to take a deep breath during my busy days, and its symbolism.

I was torn between water and earth, but decided on earth - even those these pictures have a little of both!

 
My astrological sign is Cancer - the crab, a water sign. I live on a lake, and though I rarely swim, I love the ever-changing views of the water. My favorite time to view the lake is probably at sunrise or sunset (when this pic was taken).

I chose FIRE because for a few years, walking through the FIRE was really my life. I'm on the other side now and I still have a healthy respect for the element of FIRE. I'm scared of real fire. Go figure
