January 1 - Blind Scrap

I have one picture
Two different papers
three nature elements - flowers, leaves, grasses
string or ribbon - ribbon bow on stems
one fastener - staples on the photo (teeny tiny, let me know if it needs to be larger)
one paint or brushstroke - paint splatter
some journaling - bare minimum: I'm a woman of few words!

My first page in YEARS, literally...wow. ♥

Off to a great start! I like that there is a theme this year and I like the theme that was chosen. Thank you, @mrs2a50 for this thoughtful MOC 11 kickoff challenge.

What a great first challenge! Thank you! :)

Two papers blended in the background
Branch, flower and snowflakes to represent nature

Two paint strokes (behind the journaling and in the upper left corner)

I don't know why I struggled with this one, I think because I had an idea for 2 papers, but it didn't work.

1 Photo - me and my grandson
2 Papers - background and under photo
3 nature elements - 2 flowers, 1 butterfly bead
1 string or ribbon - messy thread
1 fastener - staple
1 paint - blue paint behind photo
journaling done
