January 1 - Blind Scrap

I used: one photo (ladies I volunteer with who bring me great joy to know & learn from & work with), with the journaling under photo.
Fastener - thread on left of photo
Ribbon (purple ribbon on right of page near happening word art)
Nature items - flowers and leaves
Paint brush marks (under photo and also under the cluster on the left of page)
Several papers (two for background and then in the word REALLY)
I think that's everything noted - and linked to Gina Miller's kit used (Chronicles Vol 4) and FiddleDeeDee Designs' template (Big Words 3) in gallery

It has been a month since Kismet went to Kitty Heaven.
We have slowly adjusted to his absence... there are good things and not... initially I made sure Kashmir knew he was gone.

We had an established routine. half a can of Friskies wet food in the morning, once “Mom” got up... and the same sometime around 7 PM... and then at bedtime Kismet got his Insulin and both got “treats”.. Kashmir surprised me by not being at all interested in the wet food the first evening and the next morning... Who knew.??? it had been Kismet who had gobbled up both portions...! Kashmir was good with dry kibbles... So it was a big change to no longer have a schedule... Dry food was always ready and he was not much interested in bedtime treats. It took a couple of weeks for him to come asking for wet food.. I started small, just a teaspoonful at a time... and gradually he started asking for more... I feed him him when he is ready and asks for it... Some days he would sleep right through dinner time, wanting nothing... But we are now back on a bit of a schedule, and most mornings he is ready for wet food.

Loving and personal attention posed no issues.. He was more than ready to suck up as much of that as possible and has gotten very demanding always wanting more!!!!
My neighbor Teana has been his surrogate Mom from the very beginning and cares of him when I am gone... he bonded even more with her over Thanksgiving.

Teana and I have a long standing tradition of exchanging gifts... I shop to my hearts content for her and she gives me a GC, which makes me VERY happy... We always set aside an evening where we can just relax and enjoy a quiet time... Kashmir, even more so than usual Sucked up having both of us there... but really cozied up to Teana, all evening... demanding to be petted regularly...

MOC Day 1: Blind Scrap: Finding Joy

I am big on decluttering but I also love arranging what I do have, and decorating the place. We have just moved and this little corner brings me joy, with its glass vase, little antique jug that was a present from my mother decades ago, and a painting of a Tui (native NZ bird) given by my daughter to her bird-loving father. :-)

Be Gentle Messy Paper Pack
All That We Were (leaves)
Days Like These (leaves and bow)
HMV Wishing (Thread)
Wake Up Happy (Paint)
Fasten It

Mine. Can't believe I forgot to post it here yesterday. Thanks for the challenge.
