January 1 - Blind Scrap Challenge

1. Photo of me and hubby
2. frames - one over photo, other around journaling
3. ribbons - top left corner
4. paper - background and other 3 cropped papers under photo
5 flowers
6 leafs - 2 behind photo, 2 behind journaling frame, one under photo and one to the left of photo
7 lines of journaling in frame
8 other elemetns - 2 botton added to flowers (blue and green flowers), 3 word arts, 3 triangle elements bottom right of page.

I used 3 kits: PRD Better Together, Becca Bonneville Buttermilk Hill and Kim Jensen Eclectic Spring
1 photo
2 frames: stamped by PRD and circle Becca B
3 bows: same one in front of picture and in upper right and middle side behind paper stacks - Kim Jensen
4 papers: bluish is K Jensen and 3 pinkish ones are Becca B
5 flowers: one on picture by Kim Jensen & 4 sticker roses by Becca B
6 leaves: on top 3 sticker flowers
7 lines of journaling
8 other elements: paint matched kits, spray of hearts Becca B, flower washi at top by PRD, plaid washi bottom of picture by Becca B, perfect pair word strip PRD, 2 more leaves on sticker flowers at bottom by Becca B (does that count as 2?) date strip by Kim J

I will accept that. I had intended it to mean 8 actual elements, but I can see where using flowers with attached leaves could be interpreted as separate flowers and leaves.

I think word strips are "elements." Journaling would be words you type. The original instructions state that your title does count as a line of journaling

Follow the 'recipe' in the challenge thread to create the layout
All items are from TLP - May 2019 Storyteller by JJ

This is my gorgeous daughter on her wedding day...I am zipping up her dress.

Blind Scrap Recipe:

1 photo centered
2 distinct frames (not one frame with 2 openings)
3 ribbons/bows
4 papers layered under photo (includes background paper)
5 flowers
6 leaves/branches
7 lines of journaling
8 extra elements different than above: I did: 1 stitch, 4 different paints, 1 word label, 1 word bit and 1 butterfly

 
Here is mine:

1 photo centered
2 frames (one placed over the photo, a white one behind the journal box)
3 gold bow right cluster, gold bow left cluster, curly blue ribbon from one cluster to the other.
4 papers- white background, blue star background, white floral circle, pale pink paper piece (peeking out behind white frame).
5 flowers (1 extra counted in 8 extra elements)
6 leaves/branches- 3 in each cluster
7 lines of journaling
8 extra elements:
journal card, alpha, paint, word art, star, 1 extra flower, scatter, stitches

@mrs2a50 Super excited for this challenge & first time doing MOC.

Just wanted to clarify...I’m mostly a hybrid scrapper. Is this allowed as long as the challenge guidelines are met?
