Jan. 16: Using Paint/Brushes as a Mask (Technique Challenge)

    I used one brush as a mask, and a couple others to do sort of a white wash over the background.

    This isn't how I envisioned this page when I started, but it just kind of made itself. I repeated the paint several times and merged them, then clipped the large picture to it.

    If we have masks, and know how to use them, are those allowed? Or do you want us to create our own with the brush tool?

    The challenge is to use paint it doens;t really matter what kind of paint. you can use those the same way as a mask.

    I used the paint stroke in the elements of the Make a Wish kit for the challenge. I layered two together, changing the direction and cropping bits out to come up with a custom mask.
