I have mixed feelings, but usually I dread back to school just as much as students and teachers. It means a switch from lazy days at home for the kids (hubby and I still work full time) to the busy crazy schedules full of sports practices and games and homework and meetings and busy busy busy! The boys are both excited to go back now though, I think they've had enough down time and miss seeing their friends every day. Plus they both have new teachers that they are excited about. Yay!

My daughter went back a couple of weeks ago.

It's a double-edged sword for us. She starts to get stircrazy & crabby once August rolls around but having her at home means not spending 2 hours in the car every day doing dropoff & pickup and someone else being around to play with the 3yo. I am evidently not as fun as an 8yo to play with!

I was really hoping the 3yo would PT over the summer so he could go to preschool a few hours a week but, alas, he refuses so I won't get my alone time until next fall. Counting down until then...
