It's Monday! What's happening this week?

I could've never leased a vehicle either when my kids were small. I put way too many miles on my vehicles. Now only about 10,000 a year.

Oh Val..I can't wait to start that series. I am in the middle of book number 2 of 3 of another series, and then I hope to read that.

Hugs Jordan. You have a lot going on right now with the sickies in your home.

Have fun going out Crystal! I didn't do that enough when my boys were small.

I'm kind of jealous you are all doing the back to school thing. Those days are over for me...although Eric goes back to his classes next week at the community college. I can't wait for him to finish there and then go on to another college.

I have no plans for my birthday. I'm pretty sure Rick will still be working up in Alaska, so at this time I'm hoping to find out if he can take some R&R about that time, and I'll just fly up. We can drive out of town and go to a nice ski resort, go hiking, etc...That will not be my real birthday trip though. That's just for fun! lol He will still owe me a trip for my birthday and something big for our 30th anniversary in Feb too! I need to really start planning something!

Our yearly housing inspection is this week so I have been cleaning like a mad person. Plus my little brother is visiting until Saturday. He just got home from overseas and my kids have spent virtually no time with them their whole little lives so they are loving having Uncle Kaelin here. Then Maddie starts pre-ballet this week <3 and we are hoping to get everything in order with Seth to start preschool. We have been trying for over a year to get his shot records in order, the clinic in Germany did not do the best job of keeping track of everything he got over there...it's been a nightmare. But after 3 hours and 4 shots at the Dr. on Friday he is now good to go :D

Lots of prep this week.

DH is on a break from school, so he's busy catching up on things + applying for jobs. SS starts school next week (on DD's birthday, actually), so we are still getting him school supplies and clothes and working out the logistics for what happens if his mom goes back to work this fall.

DD has 2 bday parties and a bday dinner next week (*lol* -- we couldn't get both sides of the family together at the same time), so of course, what I am investing the most time and energy in is appropriately color- and theme-coordinated clothing so the pictures look nice. :giggle The first bday party she is sharing with her older (boy) cousin, so there's no theme, but I'm on the hunt for a cute dress. I am buying her a Winnie the Pooh pillowcase dress from Etsy tomorrow (just found the perfect one) for her WTP dinner on her actual bday, and the only thing I'm looking more forward to than seeing her in it is forcing my ILs to wear Pooh ears while we eat cake. :giggle Oh, and the one with my side of the family is farm-themed, so I'm scouting out denim shortalls and still deciding what kind of shirt she should wear underneath. Is it bad that I already have scrap kits tucked away for the yet-to-be-taken photos?! It's a sickness, I tell ya...
