It's Monday! What's happening this week?

It's a pedal-to-the-metal kind of week for me. My parents are coming to visit. My youngest turns 5 on Wednesday, so I'm gearing up for her Tangled bash. School starts next week. :dizzy
Phew, no wonder I needed two cups of coffee this morning.

well, it´s just another ordinary week over here. The boys are ready for another week at school and my Darkfever book just got here!! YAY! So, I´m gonna start reading it and probably finish by Wednesday or so....:

BTW, I´m so sorry to hear you weren´t feeling so well Ana, I hope you get better soon sweetie!! =)

I got my walking in today, going to get ready for work, and then the rest of the week (through Friday) I have off. I'm going to do some deep cleaning and then try to find a handyman to get some jobs done for me that have been bugging me. The guy I was going to use died suddenly 5 months ago, and I've yet to find anyone new. I need to get some bids on painting my house as well. I have a list of things that have to be done before my birthday. I don't think my husband realizes how serious I am about the importance of these things. I'll be 50 in September and it's like something has gone off in my brain that I can't turn 50 and not have these things done!

This week is our last week before school starts. My husband and daughter are coming back from the OBX right now and I just woke up to having the keys locked in my husband's work van (I've been borrowing it while he borrowed my car for a 12 hour drive). I'm a tard!!!! I try to keep his things safe and this is what happens to me. :dizzy I just plan on doing my daily work outs at the center and keeping my two busy for their last few days of summer. I'm looking forward to a new school year (and a break! :giggle )

today we had some errands to run this morning, we have an apt for my cat this afternoon and then football this evening.
it's just another week of being busier than i want to be. i'm hoping to get a few other things accomplished besides running everywhere. i'm thinking we should have done a 13,000 mile/yr lease in stead of 12,000. i've already blown past my 1,000 miles for the month, and i haven't technically had it a month yet. *sigh* maybe i'll catch up a bit in the winter when we're running less (i hope???)

We have doctor's appointments. Today for B, Wednesday for me...thank goodness! I have an online class I have to do every Tuesday and Thursday for the rest of the month, and contract training every Wednesday and Friday for the rest of the month.

B is supposed to start preschool Thursday, but I don't know what's going on with him, so depending on what his pediatrician says today, he may have to wait until next week...which wouldn't disappoint me too much.

Phew...I'm almost as busy as you Laura! LOL!

debra happy almost birthday! hope you can find a handyman to take care of all your shtuff. sucks when hubby's away, doesn't it??
 
this week...Wed. I am going out with a girlfriend (hallelujah!!). Thursday we are hoping to get together with Garret's cousin and his wife. She is due like any day now and totally miserable :( Friday we are going to a church thing. They are going to have a movie outside for the kiddos which should be fun. Sat. we are taking a trip to the Creation Museum with Garret's parents. It's a few hours away so we are planning on just doing it in one day. :) Sun. G works but then Monday is back to school night and the first full day is Tuesday!

crystal, you'll have to let me know how the museum is. i've been wanting to go there for a few years now, but it never seems to make it high enough on our list of things to do. hopefully some day.
 
I'm feeling tototally overwhelmed that my daughter is starting middle school and also the fact that I spent a small fortune on new clothes for her. I don't know...it just hit me today...and it really hit me. So I'm sad :(

It's a "freaking out because life has thrown me for a loop and now my to-do list is paralyzingly HUGE thanks in large part to my being underprepared" meets a "freaking out because my baby girl is going to Kindergarten this week" kind of week. So hopefully it will be a productive and not-too-emotional week. :) My plans are to tackle all the tasks and focus on being excited for Bugga's big first day! ♥

This is our last week of Summer before my oldest son's football and baseball seasons start up next week and school starts the week after. I need to get through some volunteer stuff I have to do for school registration tomorrow, and then we are going to do some fun day trips.
 
This week I'll study a lot! =P I hope so... I have a lot of homeworks to do... aaaargh! But I wanna have a great weekend! My fingers are crossed!

Oh nothing big happening here this week.. did a little shopping today.. leaving for Vegas Friday on a mom's only weekend.. oh wait that's something isn't it?!

I am so freakin' excited!! No hubbies. No kids. Lots o' drinks and fun times!
 
Well, B has Fifth's Disease. I thought he'd already had it, but guess not. Must have been one of the hundred *other* viral infections he's had! Good news is, he's not contagious anymore, so he can start school this week. Although, that nasty rash all over his face might freak his teachers out! We picked up his lunch box, book bag and nap mat today and he's stoked! All he kept saying was I can't wait to go to school, Mommy! Hmmm...they grow up too fast! :(
