Milk, that is! What do you drink? Whole, 2%, 1% or nonfat? Or some sort of non-dairy alternative?

We're nonfat drinkers here

I buy Fat Free Organic milk for my family. Don't need those extra hormones so I make sure it's Organic. :)

I don't drink milk. I don't like it. I put cream in coffee and tea, though. The more fat, the better.

Fat free organic here as well. Never thought there was much to that but with milk it does seem to make a difference in taste and freshness.

Now for coffee cream, it's full fat, a bunch of different flavors.

We used to drink 2 % and then read that despite the fat content that whole milk was better so that is what we drink. Don't ask me where I read it or what it said either. Cuz for all I know I read it on Facebook, lol. And we know everything is true on there.

Fun fact: Denmark has the freshest milk in the world. There is less time from teat to table than anywhere else. Even though I don't drink it, the rest of my family does, and I think that's pretty cool. The milk has different names here so I don't know if it's whole or what, but it says 3.5%. The literal Danish translation is "sweet milk".

With lactose intolerance, hubby and I drink almond milk! And sometimes coconut.

I also have read this - and not on Facebook! So we went from skim to 2% for the kiddos lol. I think the more fat they remove, the more nutrition. Who knows?

dd and dh drink 2%, ds and I drink unsweetened vanilla almond milk because of milk sensitivity.

this thread just reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite ... " i see you're drinking 1%. is that because you think you are fat? because you could totally be drinking whole if you wanted to. "

sorry i just love that movie. carry on!

Can't have dairy, so coconut milk for me. When I splurge I use vanilla coconut creamer in my latte.

Ah well, over here we drink Whole cause everything else tastes a little fishy - literally. And my kids are so skinny I can't keep fat on them so we actually have to make sure the get ENOUGH fat in their diet so whole milk, cream cheese - whatever - they get loads - I think it has something to do with the rest of the diet living in Asia. not sure though.
