What are some awesome versatile styles from the last year or two, wanting to add to my tools while the sale is on

What a great idea! I'm on my phone right now and headed to bed so I can't link up right now, but here are somethings to check out...

Shadows... love Fiddle Dee Dee's styles.

Mommyish has some ones that I use a lot...
**Paper and kraft. I use these when a kit doesn't have a solid that I need. I color sample and then make a box in that color and apply the paper style. I like them for little text labels/tags. Saves times as i don't need to search my stash.
**There is a chipboard style that I use to spruce up my fonts so I don't need an alpha.
**Wood styles. Use to make paper or Wooden titles.
**Gold leaf. There's a style that has a couple metals. Silver/gold and keep your color
**metal styles. One with built in bevels are helpful.

I'm sure by morning others will chime in but I can look better tomorrow with what I have. The types above are my "can't live without"

I would say check your stash and see what you have and then think about the styles you use the most and add to those. I use drop shadows the most and then Mommyish and Just Jaimee's, chipboard, kraft and rippled plastic respectively.

I've never really used any except shadow ones before. Turns out I have hardly any but do have

Just Jaimee's Storyteller 2016 foundations shadow styles
Just Jaimee's Storyteller Reed Shadow Styles
Just Jaimee's Storyteller 2015 epoxy, glitter, kraft, stamp & vellum styles
Just Jaimee's washi tape builder
Mommyish colorful glitter december 2015
Mommyish October stash styles
Mommyish PU styles essentials
Mommyish sticker styles
Mommyish ultimate shadows

I grabbed a couple bundles. The "oldies but goodies", "bring on the bling". .. a lot of variety. Fabric, paper, metal, glitter, gold, etc. I also really like the paint gesso texture for my AJ pages, and the newer metallic paint.

Also, @Cath_ check her freebies archive on her website. See if there's an older paper/kraft style there, and make sure you have the freebies she offered from the style challenge. I know I've picked up several style freebies over the years from her on various blog hops or celebrations from her time at Sugar Hill.
