I'm looking for a dreary dreadful kit to convey the news we received just over a week ago - I'm going to need to work on this page for a while and might end up being an album of it's own when it's all said and done.

I don't want anything with sunny bright cheerful colors - nothing too emo and over the top grunge... I just don't know where to start to look in the shop.

Thanks Ladies/Gents.

First of all, I am sorry for your bad news. :(

Scrap therapy is a great way to cope IMHO, so here are a few ideas to get you started

Next month's M3 (releasing April 17th) will likely be a good collection to work with.

LIfe isn't always flowers and such...I have a few kits I draw from when I am working things out:

and this kit is amazing:

there may be more...and I would look at this MIxed Media MOnthly
because sometimes, just pouring your heart out with art journaling is an outlet of healing:heartslub

I am sorry for your troubles.
I use papers a lot, when elements don't seem to fit, Turn them into ribbons and cut them to shapes,
here are 2 I think are ok for this.

I'm so sorry for your troubles. It looks like you've gotten some great ideas here. In addition to using darks and neutrals, you might want to render your photos in B&W or sepia for this project.
