Interesting title I know but I never knew October was I'm just me because month until I was snooping around National Day Calendar for inspiration

Are you good at identifying what makes you shine?
What makes you "you"?
How do you embrace what makes you unique?

Are you good at identifying what makes you shine?
I think I am in some parts of my life.....I guess it helps when I'm always selling myself & my skills to employers through job applications. Admittedly it doesn't come 100% naturally to me & I do feel like I'm either a bit of an imposter or not good enough at times. Creatively, I probably struggle with identifying what makes me stand out but I go back to each of us is unique & I'm happy with what I create

What makes you "you"?
Physical scars & some medical handiwork.....I'm honestly not joking when I say that. I've embraced those years of my journey and they've taught me a lot & helped create what is my passion & learning/employment journey

How do you embrace what makes you unique?
Understanding & appreciating what makes me unique & understand that my life journey & how I am is mine alone

These are hard questions for me to answer but I will try my best!

Are you good at identifying what makes you shine?
I'm probably better at identifying what I'm NOT good at lol I do know that I'm a very optimistic person.

What makes you "you"?
The way I was raised, the people I surround myself with, how I choose to spend my time.

How do you embrace what makes you unique?
By not apologizing for things about me that might be different but aren't bad or wrong.

I think I'm good at introspection. Maybe because I've been journaling pretty much all my life.
I think what makes me, me, is my personality, my experiences, my circumstances, and my choices.
I accept myself as I am, I don't try to be someone else or make other people happy, I enjoy what I enjoy!

It's hard to summarize all of this!

Are you good at identifying what makes you shine?
Better than I used to be, for sure. One of the benefits of age and also shedding unhealthy relationship dynamics.

What makes you "you"?
These days I appreciate my persistence and my independent spirit. And in the past week I have had one old friend call me 'bold' and another call me 'so tough', and that was cool.

How do you embrace what makes you unique?
I don't apologise for being the way I am - to myself most of all. I accept myself and also my past self (that bit is a little more challenging!)

Are you good at identifying what makes you shine? I think so after pert near 63 years. You get told enough times that you're great at explaining things or writing or teaching, you start to believe it. But you also know all-too-well where you DON'T shine. I like the Bible verse that says, "Don't think of yourself more highly than you ought." It doesn't mean that you don't acknowledge what you're good at, but you don't overlook your faults either.

What makes you "you"? I think it's my relationship with God. Having an identity in Christ helps me to see the things that He's put in me that are for my purpose in life and the things that need to be chipped away to make me more like Him.

How do you embrace what makes you unique? I like what Lynn said...you don't apologize for the way you are. I'm an introvert that just happens to not be shy. So, yes, I can lead a small group, but afterwards, I will hide away for a couple of days because y'all drain me! LOL My roommates finally get it and don't try to cajole me out of my room if I'm nesting.
