I'm having a moment...

My 2 oldest (12 & 14) just went to their first day of co-op (7th & 10th grade)....I was having a hard time this morning as they were making their own breakfast and packing their own lunches...It seemed like yesterday I was making them little breakfasts & doing everything for them.

They truly grow up so fast!
 
I love how much about her is the same! The smile, the eyes. And I love the comparison in how she's changed - the size of the blackboard relative to her, her hair, her confidence, her clothes.
What a beautiful moment to celebrate!
 
Aw... what a sweetie! I can relate. My youngest is starting 6th grade in a week and a half. I now have two middle schoolers! Next year the oldest goes off to high school! So weird!!!
 
She's beautiful!! My oldest is a third grader this year but he grew a TON over the summer and recently got a haircut that makes him look like he's 10. I'm not ready for him to look like he's 10 :( It's so hard to watch them grow!!!
 
I get you! Naomi is starting Grade 7 in the Fall in a HIGH SCHOOL. I can't get over it. I just gave a bunch of size 5 & 6 clothes to a friend of ours, and realized that some of those things were clothes I bought for Naomi when I first started dating Jesse 7 years ago. Even the kindergarten clothes just seem impossibly small now.

She's definitely a mini-me, Laura. So pretty! Love those cheeks! Over the summer, Harrison has shot up and is now taller than me. It's really hard when our babies grow up.

Miss Applesauce, I loooove these photos so much! How cool that you did that! The changes are remarkable and powerful in the side by side! I totally need to do something like this for my kiddos! I love that you used the same board too! Wonderfully done!

She is adorable! And moments are ok...that is what life is made of. Hope the first week is going well.
