I'm Grateful...

Day 2 is from my 21 year old daughter:

I am thankful for being caught up with work deadlines and school assignments. It's always a nice feeling to be current with important things.

{That's my girl, always on top of her school work, good grades...}

Day 3 from my 18 year old son:

I'm grateful that my college classes aren't suffocating me and I'm doing awesome in my classes. And I'm thankful for all the help that my family has done for me my first year in college.

I am so grateful for my family and family by choice! I'm feeling amazingly blessed these days with health and happiness. And I also feel blessed in knowing that I can make it through the rough times too.

30 days of gratitude | Day 3

On Digital Scrapbooking Day, I'm extremely grateful for the amazing friends I've made while sharing this hobby. I'm thankful for their support, their inspiration, and their kind words and encouragement. I'm grateful that my family will have these pages to look through later. :)

30 days of gratitude: day 3 - today I am grateful for digital scrapbooking... today is Digital Scrapbooking Day and I'm so thankful for the friends I've made who "get it" and are some of my closest friends even if we will never meet in person... I'm so thankful for a "clean" means to record our memories, a means for some therapy, and just to be creative... So thankful for a community that supports each other through tragedy and celebration... so thankful for a community that inspires and encourages our memory keeping, story telling and art journaling... so thankful for the designers who work hard to be a part of my scrapbook pages and memories, I am so blessed to work with so many of you and also call you friend!!!! My family loves looking at my layouts and reading the stories and I love that they have them to look at for many years!!!

Day 3. Today I am grateful for the opportunity to speak to my Mom on the phone. I miss her so much and hearing her voice on the phone always makes the miles apart seem shorter.:beat

This year I thought that I would post my "What I am Thankful for" on Facebook. So Far I have been doing well.

The first day I posted how thankful I was for my children and how wonderful etc they are. My son who is almost 16 called me from school to ask me what was wrong and what was going on. He thought that I was upset or sad and just called to say he loved me. When I explained that I was just doing this 30 days of Thanks thing he just laughed and said "It's a scrapbook thing? Jeez I thought you were depressed or sad."

That is exactly why I am thankful for my amazing kids. They are so caring.

Had to share my story.

I am thankful that my Dad survived a stroke on Saturday and was able to come home from the hospital already and is doing very well! :)

I'm so thankful for you too! That's so scary!

I'm thankful that my insanely precious and very unplanned baby girl is so content and happy to be passed around and have her picture taken. She's such a blessing.

I'm so grateful for flavored coffee creamer :), especially Cinnamon Bun!

30 Days of Gratitude | Day 5

(ok now I've gone all teary eyed :flirty)

I am thankful I have my son in my life! Without him, I would still be doing the careless wreckless things I use to do! Without him, I wouldn't have found digital scrapbooking!!! XD He's my little man who will always be in my life, others come and go but I will always be able to call him mine!!!

Today I'm thankful that in this gone crazy world I can cling to the assurance that Jesus is still King, God is in control of it all, and no man on this Earth is powerful enough to change God's plan for His people. In that I rejoice!

I am grateful that our new fertility clinic is willing to do their best to help low income families realize their dream of having a baby. They have restored my hope in the possibility I will get to be a mom. This clinic and especially the research coordinator are so kind. I am so thankful.

today I am thankful that I was able to go to my big girls choral performance night with a friend and listen to beautiful music!
