I'm Grateful...

November is here and with it comes the season of Thanksgiving for those of in the US. No matter where you are though, I think it's always a good thing to reflect with gratitude on what you have in your life, big or small. So, pop into this thread throughout this month whenever you have a moment of thankfulness and share it with us!

I'm grateful for my new puppy, Calla, who has eased the ache in my heart from losing Leo earlier this year. She is a sweet and sassy girl that my family needed so much! :wub

Today I'm so very thankful for my family and friends. I'm blessed to have many people in my life that are supportive, kind, and loving.

oh... I started it on FB this morning and then hope to work on my journal and my kiddos' journals this afternoon... I was gonna do hybrid but my printer isn't working :( so I might just write in them and decorate layer with my old stash of paper scraps

here's what I posted on FB this morning

30 days of gratitude: Day 1 - I am grateful for family, not just my family by blood and my family by marriage, but also my digiscrap family, my church family, my babywearing/AP family, my friends who I've met in person and those I haven't met in person but know thanks to the interwebs, the people God has put in my life who mean more to me then words could ever express... thank you so much for touching my life, I wish I could tell you all in person and give you a great big hug XOXO

Today I am thankful for my health and especially for my family. As much as I annoy them from time to time, they seem to put up with me.:beat

I'm thankful my daughter dislikes peanut butter.... common Reese's halloween bars... come to mama!!!!

I'm starting my 30 Gratitude Journal project... (I'll just update this post)

Day 1: I am thankful to my biological mother for choosing LIFE for me!
Day 2: I am thankful for my adoptive parents - the teaching, the kissing of boo-boos, the tucking in at night and as I got older the valuable advice and the free babysitting! You didn't think I was going to be totally serious, did you??!! LOL I would not be the woman I am today with my parents - my first teachers!
Add-on: I'm thankful I know how to groom my own dogs... $45/dog x 3 dogs... I'm saving myself a ton of money today!
Day 3: Today I am thankful for my husband. He's a hard-working honest man. Although sometimes I think he forgets we're human and therefore imperfect by our very nature. He has high expectations for himself and for others.
Day 4: I am thankful for my children. Even though they are a lot of work. I could not imagine how empty and boring my life would be without them. They make me want to be a better person.
Day 5: I am thankful for this great community of digital scrappers. The eye-candy alone is enough to inspire even the most un-creative soul. Knowing I have "friends" only a keyboard away 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year is priceless.
Day 6: Today I am thankful for the privilege of voting. Without the hard work and sacrifice of the women from a previous generation, I would not be allowed to go cast my ballot to allow my voice to be heard.

I am grateful to be here with you all,you guys definitely rock. Not only are you mega talented and creative, you are also all so very nice and fun to hang out with. Of course I am also grateful for my DH and our dog Yuki that I consider our child. Actually I am grateful for the life I am leading. It's not all fun and roses all the time but it's pretty wonderful nonetheless.

So thankful for my husband and kids. I feel so blessed to have them in my life!

I'm grateful that the move we made over 4 years ago turned out to be such an amazingly wonderful decision on so many levels - I have a fabulous job, my husband was able to fully retire, and we both feel our lives are infinitely better than they were before.

Today, I am grateful for

-- sunshine and 50ish degree temperatures

-- gas for $3.15/gallon

-- that DD had a great Halloween and I got some cute pics of her kittycat costume

-- my new Christmas Spotify playlist

First of all, I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful place to share the things for which I'm grateful! I love reading wonderful things that are happening to wonderful people. :)

Oh gosh, there is so much. My family is healthy after a cardiac scare with my sweet husband last month. I have this avocado-sized little girl in my belly who seems to be progressing nicely. My daughter is just such a bright, happy person who is so much fun to be around. I am in close contact with lots of fantastic family and friends who inspire me every day. I love all three of my jobs (including being a Polly here at TLP!!).

Life. Is. Grand.

I will just update this post!!!

30 Days of Gratitude....
Day 1
I am so thankful for my family....by blood, by marriage and those that we have "adopted" into our family! Each of you hold a special place in my heart and I am so thankful to have each of you in my life!

Day 2
I am so thankful for a full pot of coffee and my yummy hazelnut creamer! It really helps this tired momma get through the day!

I'm so thankful for grace. And not just in a faith-y kind of way, though surely for me that's the best of it. The whole notion of getting a fresh chance to be the best me every day. For all the kindnesses and moments of patience others have given to me. I see it everywhere. And it's so beautiful.

My family and my husband, and having had the opportunity to spend my birthday this week with my family for the first time in several years.

Today I'm thankful that even though she is feeling poorly and is home from school I get to spend some one-on-one time with my small girl for a change :)

I am so super thankful that our power came back on! It has been such an awful week and the worst isn't over yet, but it is so nice to have lights and TV and Internet.

I'm so thankful for my body. I don't often do the things I should to take care of it (eating healthy, exercising, etc.) and yet I have wonderful health that I often take for granted. And it's pretty amazing that I was able to grow and birth three healthy babies... almost four!
