The lack of closure must be one of the most painful aspects of this pandemic and it appears to be worst in Italy. Prayers for you, your country, and the rest of the world!
I am so sad Francesca for what is happening all over the world and in your particularly affected country! Prayers for everyone and hope for all of us!
@Farwen Fransesca, I've viewed this thread a few times, but waited to comment because I felt a loss for words. I still feel that. I chose an image instead of more words. You matter. Italy matters. Prayers matter and they are being sent to your people and your land.
Thank you for this heartbreaking message, Francesca. We all need to hear this, since some of us still aren't taking this threat seriously enough. From my country (Canada) to you and your beautiful country, I thank you, and I mourn with you.
from my 2 countries (Malta and Denmark ) to yours , condolences . Our Italian friends are worried sick, and we are worried sick, both for them and for our selves . Please stay in ,stay safe.
Francesca, I can't say anything to you that hasn't already been said. I'm so sorry. Please stay safe. In Illinois, in the United States, we will soon be in a "Shelter in Place" mode, goes into effect today at 5 p.m. Please take care.
Francesca, My heart goes out to you and your country! I sure know what this means and I wondering when it will happen here.
@Farwen I have read an article just today about the situation there and about the many people dying alone without their families even knowing where they died, when they died, where they were buried...it is so terribly tragical and sad, there are no words for it.
Prayers and big hugs to you! I'm glad my governor is learning from Italy. We had so many people taking vacations to Las Vegas since flights were cheap. Closing the casinos sucks big time for our economy, but I believe it'll save lives. I'm sorry Italy had to be the example. I hope other places pay attention to this tragedy.
We are paying attention here in New Zealand and are about to go into lockdown in less than 48 hours for the next four weeks. My three children and I have three weeks left until we have to move from our rented home. I don't have a new place signed up, rent has increased so much I can't afford it! Thankfully the government will help with emergency housing for the kids and I, but not sure about all the logistics while we are in lockdown. My heart breaks for your country, I pray this will be behind all of us soon.
@Farwen Just checking on you as we have not seen/heard from you in over a month. Sending prayers that you are ok and that you will be joining us here at the pad again soon. You are missed.
Francesca.... I am sorry only saw this now.... I'm with you on the stay at home... my dad was a bio chemist, he worked for the Brazilian and Argentine military on tropical diseases and I learned a LOT about epidemiology, plus I worked for 5 years for the NSH here in England...... so I KNOW how devastating the spread pf a disease can be... super huge huggzz, you are in our prayers (always, but now more than ever)
I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your words of love, your support, prayers and good vibes, thank you thank you thank you, it means a lot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
