I'm a sad camper :(

Awww, you're all so sweet. Thank you so much for your kind words, everyone. She is not eating or drinking much and is having trouble with her hind legs but the vet wants to flush her kidneys tomorrow to see if perhaps it will kick start everything. As one of my favorite James Taylor songs goes, we're "hoping real hard with a losing hand." Hope you're all having a lovely end to your weekend.

:( i'm sorry you're having to watch your poor sweet baby struggle. that's always so hard. our pets really do become family members, don't they.

Its funny that our pets become just a part of the family.
And it is devastating just the same when they get sick.

Thanks so much, everyone for your kind comments. This afternoon Haole passed away peacefully in my arms. She lived a wonderfully long, loved life and I'm grateful to have had her as my companion for 17 years. Your outpouring of love and support made a hard situation a bit easier-- thank you so much for your hugs. :) Onward we go...

pets are such a huge part of a family and it hurts so much when something happens to them (i know!)

i love the page you've made in her honor.

I'm very sorry for your loss Liana - I love the tribute page you made and I hope the fun memories and personality of your cat eases your pain now. I especially love the photo of the cat sitting. Thanks for sharing your page. (((hugs)))

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad that it was peaceful though and that you were there with her at the end.
