I'm BEYOND excited you guys! For a while now, I've had my eye on the Ford Flex... don't ask me why, other than I just like that it is a little quirky and different. Plus it's roomy enough for 5 people and 2 dogs and travel luggage. Score.
The lease is almost up on our van, so we went to the dealership last night to see if we might have any luck. And we did!! They will have to transfer the vehicle from another dealership, but by the end of next week, I should be driving my new car!! :woot

So, what are you guys driving right now? And if you could get a new vehicle, what would you get (feel free to be realistic or to dream big!!)

So, the Flex is my realistic choice, but if I could get ANYTHING.... I would get a Bugatti Veyron...

th

just a measly couple million dollars... ain't no thang.

this car is all my son talks about lately!!! he's a few weeks shy of 14, lol.
i am driving an armada ... about a year old. i do a lot of carpooling and it fits a lot of kids ... plus it's great for road trips with our kids and 2 dogs.
don't really have a dream car ... just like reliable, comfy and roomy!

Yea....I wanted it real bad back in '09 but now I'm really wanting a Pic 'Em Up Truck! And.....my kids are all grown up now and have their own families so I thought I better go and get me a convertible before I was too old to enjoy one! I do love it!

Jenn, good to know I have the taste of a 14-year-old boy!! :giggle

Seriously, though, I watched a show once where this thing drag raced a fighter jet, and it ended in a tie. It's not slow.
And it looks like it could eat all the other cars for a snack. So there's that. lol

We just bought a Ford Fusion hybrid about a month ago. I haven't driven it very much but DH loves it. I have to say I like the gas mileage it gets.

Congrats on the new car, Rebecca!! I'm reading a book series right now where one of the main characters has a Bugatti and I had no idea what kind of car it was. It's HOT!!!!

I drive a red Camry, and I love it. It's a sporty model. We also have an SUV although it's starting to get junky on us and we really need a bit bigger one.

well maybe there's a connection there. bc when he grows up he wants to be a jet fighter pilot for the air force. ;)

I'm currently driving a small Lexus hybrid. Great gas mileage but I miss my SUV for the space and for sitting up higher. Next car will not be a sedan for sure.

I drive a Honda Fit 08 red sport model. It gets awesome gas mileage but if I could, I'd go back to my Nissan Versa hatchback. I loved that car. It was so comfy and perfect for the two of us. I like it better than the fit because it sits higher off the ground. But, I'd also like a crossover someday. Like a Honda CRV or something like that.

I have a Chevrolet Aveo, and DH has a hand-me-down Buick. Neither will fit all of us comfortably once the baby comes.

I'd like a Traverse, but it doesn't really matter what we get as long as it's a 7 seater. I'd prefer a crossover, and DH wants a 'real' SUV that can haul a boat, so I guess we'll see what shakes out once we both have jobs again.

My dream car would be a two-seater convertible that you can only ride in if you're over 21 years old! :giggle

I'm rockin the mini van right now. It's a Honda and I really like it but I joke with my husband that when the girls grow up and move out I am getting a mini cooper so no one can ride with me. ha ha!

Me too! Love my Odyssey but I have thought about going just a little smaller next time - we spend a lot of time in there every day and my children turn the back of the van into their 3rd bedroom floor some weeks!

I've got a Peugeot 405 srdt (diesel) that does close on 1000km on a tank of fuel... hard to beat that but I have been thinking I need to get a newer car too... just a few things needing to be done to Ruby Red Dress...

Newer one would be a Mitsubishi Outlander with selective 4wd (cheaper to run than perm 4wd)...

No holds barred would be a Bugatti Veyron too... goes like a cut cat though with the roads being like they are in Canterbury still (huge potholes and constant roadworks following the quakes) it would spend more time in the garage not going anywhere...

I have a Suzuki Kizashi sport and love it. It's a sporty little 4 door, and it's all wheel drive which I really have to have around here in the winter. After driving a Hummer H3 for 3 years, the savings in gas is really nice. I loved my Hummer, but it just wasn't practical since I drive at least 70 miles every day and some days closer to 100 for work. I was spending about $100 a week to put gas in that Hummer, but she sure was pretty lol.

woohoo for a new car! how fun!

i'm driving a toyota sienna minivan right now ... and i'm probably going to get a new one this fall. with the kids being young and having to drive car pool all over the place, i'm enjoying the space and ease of the mini van. once they are older i'll be switching things up! :)
