This is so so true!! you definitely have had an unexpected blessing. I hope your hubby has a continued recovery with no more of those vagals! and to be without pain. wow. So wonderful.God has really used this time in my life to speak to me and I have grown an incredible amount as an individual.
I did laugh when I read about that first vagal, not in a mean way but... it reminded me I had one of those after I had my knee replaced. I was in the little bathroom with my cage like walker in front of my knees and passed out sitting on the toilet. They did then take me from rehab to the emergency room on a cold cold night which felt wonderful as the rehab was pretty darn warm. Now people always ask me if I got hurt, fell etc when I fainted. Of course not! I was trapped inside that walker and couldn't go anywhere, and even had a hard time getting my pants back up!
Tell this little story to your hubby for a giggle! Some of us have silly things happen to us after surgery etc. I have another vagal story but I think I'll scrap that one!
