I have been single for the longest time... and every year I hear the ladies going around talking about V day and what they might be getting... and I sometimes envy them...

BUT this year, I received the BEST VALENTINE GIFT EVER!!! A GUEST POLLY!!!! WOHOO!!!

So what is your BEST Valentine gift so far?
 
That is a pretty great gift, Li Li! I think that's way better than any lame Valentine's gift! :)
 
I've been married for years and I hate Valentines...seriously, I despise cut flowers, LOL!! The first year my hubby brought flowers for our daughters though was probably the sweetest!

I'm so happy that you got a guest spot Lili! Happy Valentines day to you! :)

My hubby asked what I wanted for Valentines day and I said nothing. Then I changed my mind... I told him all I wanted was for him to say "have a nice time at your scrapbooking crop today" :) Yep, I'm taking the afternoon off work and meeting a friend and a crop until 11:00 pm tonight. Can't wait! :)

congrats on your guest spot, I must say I am very envyious of you........runs and changes my name to yours to have your guest spot.............lol


I got some very nice red roses and balloons saying I love you on them, but I did also get a dining room full of boxes which contain my new kitchen units, worktops, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and flooring for us to erect and fit to my new kitchen, so I guess I was lucky in one way but unfortunate in the other........lol
 
Spending time with my 2 men is my best gift!


Tim has today off work and when Ty gets back from school we are heading out for an early dinner at Nandos

:giggle just a simple sentence and yet it means so much to you ... that is what love is all about... not so much of the flowers, chocolates .....
 
what a great gift!!! you will LOVE being a guest polly!! congrats!!

we don't really do v-day stuff. neither of us are all that romantic or hung up on gifts. i'd rather he did something or got something on a whim because he was thinking of me, rather than because it's a day on the calendar (**cough**my birthday is totally excluded from this rule, however :giggle) so you and i can be in the no-v-day-gift club together!! :yesss

i have a husband and i still don't get valentine's ... sooooooo.... lol. (we're not big on exchanging for any of the holidays though)
my girlie made me the cutest valentine gift though. i'm sure the photos will end up on page soon.

i won a guest polly and just found out this morning too! so doing the happy polly V-day dance with you!!!
 
Congrats on the guest polly gig!
We don't do much for V day but a nice dinner on the BBQ and a movie suits me just fine.
 
Congrats Chicka! Got flowers which DH knows are okay but I absolutely hate getting candy! And I think he knows that after 24 long, drawn-out, wake up to the same person every. stinking. day. years! :D (j/k)

Congrats again Li Li on the guest polly... we don't do Valentine's day either as we show each other 365 24/7 how much we love and care about one another. I think it is a racket. The V Day before we got married he was in TX and me in NY and he sent me a dozen roses and I told him never again.. LOL I would rather we did something together another time then spend a boat load on roses the most expensive day of the year.
 
My husband got home from work before me today and he did a craft project with the girls for my card!! I have no idea what I'll do with this but I seriously love that they did it!
