    Cheryl I am so praying! I know how scary this is for you.

    Lord, I pray that You will take this precious child AND her mother under your wings and heal both of them. Be generous with Your grace and mercy. Remind Cheryl to cast her cares upon You so that she may feel Your presence and peace. Give restful sleep to Cheryl and those she loves. It is our desire that Ava and her mom are both well enough to be home on Monday, and that you will give Cheryl a safe and uneventful trip to be with them. Restore this dear family to good health, I ask in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

    Cheryl, I am just now seeing this so I am hoping that by now the reports on both their situations has improved.
    I feel for you not being by their side right now.

    Praying for the doctors to have wisdom as their care for your loved ones.

    oh my Cheryl.. sending big prayers for a speedy recovery for both. Hope your granddaughter gets sorted and they can get her well lickety split. So hard on you, but I am sure moreso on your daughter re her surgery and not being able to go to her daughter in the other hospital. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. Hugs.

    I just want to say "thank you" to all of you for taking the time to post and sending your prayers and good wishes. You don't know how much it means to me. @SharLamb thank you for praying for us right here on the board. You moved me deeply. :beat:beat:beat:beat:beat

    Things are looking up! My daughter did very well after her surgery and is going home tomorrow. Ava is out of ICU (I might have said that already - my brain's kind of mushy right now). They're hoping, if all continues to go well, that she can go home Tuesday. My 22 year old gr, Cameron, has been pitching in like a champ and running back and forth between hospitals. He promised that if I'd wait until Monday to come, that he'd take care of the running and making sure Braden and Alyssa got to see their mom and Ava every day. He's such a wonderful young man.

    So, that's my update. I'm in full-on packing mode today - not sure how long I'll be gone so I'm packing for at least a week. Love you all and you don't know what all of your prayers, love and good wishes has meant to me. :heartlub:heartlub:heartlub

    Awesome news on the update, Cheryl!!! So glad that your GD is out of ICU! May you have good travels today & hoping that both your DD and GD are on the mend. On the positive side, you'll be able to spend time with your family living on the other side of the state. Take care.

    P.S. My MIL loved my TN, so I bought her one as a gift. It may not show up in time for Christmas, but that's okay. Blue in Passport size. :-)
