I've really been into handlettering lately, and I wanted to create a smaller-sized practice book that I could grab and throw into my purse before walking out the door. So, I created this hybrid book. I'm really happy with how it turned out, so I had to share.
That's awesome, Margaret!! I used to do a lot of calligraphy and when I was just learning, I carried a book and pen everywhere so I could practice. Love it!
Thanks so much! I’m really excited about it. My hybrid vibe is in full force right now! @jenn mccabe @Karen @Cherylndesigns
Ok getting a closer look on my big screen right now and reading the gallery description for how you did this. Can I just say I love that you reused your happy planner for this! Gives me inspiration to do something with my old discs! Really really cute project ... and love the portability factor!
Thanks so much, Jen! I wonder if something similar to this project could be done with those taking your awesome bible journaling class. Hmmm...
Thanks, Dalis! I used the A5 planner pages, which are 5.83x8.27 inches. I laminated them, so they’re slightly bigger because I left a left-sided laminated border that’s wide enough for the Happy Planner disks.
