Hunger game trilogy

I really liked them but I really like that genre. I don't think they are hard to get into at all, they were pretty captivating from the very beginning.

Yes and no! Pick it up and you'll probably be hooked like the rest of us!

i almost picked these up the other day but didn't... i think i will soon.

definitely yes... i was curious and i got the first one and couldn`t stop reading... i finished the first and second in something like one week, and i don`t have a lot of reading time though :(

but i still have to wait for mockingjay until march next year :td

anyone will tell me the story of the last book :flirty

I finished Hunger Games in just a couple of days--that was after I had heard good things about them and then after I got it and started reading, I was like, "what in the world am I reading?" but then, got hooked and couldn't put it down. I just picked up Catching Fire from the library and am now trying to decide whether reading it this afternoon is good use of my time or if I should actually clean my house!

I just got my set last week - am finishing up one book then starting these :) yay!!

I actually just picked up all three last week too but then my DS snagged them! He doesnt like reading much so when he took HG i coudnt complain! He finished over the weekend so now its my turn! Lol!

Can I just say.... my hubby hates you all! lol because of TLP, I bought all three and I will say, my heart races everytime I pick up the book (one) and I try to talk about it with the hubster and her just doesn't get it! lol

I hope you chose reading over house work, LOL! It's always the better choice! ;)

i'm in the middle of book two. i'm borrowing them from a friend who has read all three. her opinion is that book one is the best and then each other is sequentially less substantial. but still good. :)

I totally agree with this. 2 & 3 weren't bad, but 1 was the best.

totally worth the read.
one of my all time favorite series.

i read hunger games in one day.
same with catching fire.
mocking jay took me a tad longer, but still finished easily with in the week.
(it was a very busy week. ROFL)

well, I read some, and did a little work....now, am wondering how much work I can avoid today to read it! LOL

Oh yeah... these are great fast reads! I read all three of them in like 6 days and finished them over Labor Day weekend. The first one is definitely the best one, but I enjoyed them all. My Mom has already torn through them too and now they are in the hands of a co-worker. :)

How appropriate are these for a high-level reading 10yo? LOL He loves Gregor series like nothing else, but I haven't been able to get these from the library to pre-read (huge list still after all this time), so wondered if it's a bit too mature in nature for him or not.

I never heard of these books before, but I'm really curious now! Might have to pick the first one up next time I go to the bookstore. Thanks for the suggestion!
