How old is your Profile Picture?

Mine is obviously recent :whistle But, I changed it because a few things collided. I got a mask and sweatshirt that perfectly matched my tagline for Christmas. And I had just looked at it in December and realize that it was from 2016. It made me realize, I don't change my profile photo very often (I think the previous one was from 2014).

You don't have to confess your age, just wondering is it recent? Did you set it and forget it? Have you thought about taking a more recent photo?
 
Mine is from when I opened my shop here in 2012! I have thought about updating because it feels a little deceptive. I still have the same glasses for now (I’ve replaced the lenses a few times) but I have 9 years of aging to add to that image, I grew out my bangs a while ago because they were too high maintenance, and I am currently sporting pandemic hair down to my armpits in an ombré of natural ashy dark blond with lots of gray at the roots to bleached blond at the ends. :lol
 
Mine is 6 years old. One of the best pictures of me so I'm keeping it. My friend took it when we went to a football game together. Her team was winning and I mugged for the camera as if I was crying. Then I smiled and she took this photo.
 
I think mine is from.... hmmm... October 2018. I was wrangling the dog, and he wasn't having it. I liked the pic of me, so here we are.... I think this is my FB is this one too! So, 2 years old. My hair is longer, and darker. I slowly grew out the heavy blond, and went more natural on purpose (started right before the pandemic so good timing). I think I look the same.... it's hard to tell age on Avatars at times for me. I just assume people are younger than me. :giggle I'm closer to 50 now. :P

As far as updating it goes....Even if I wanted to change it, the only more recent photo is not one I’m proud of (it was for a job I did so while I gave the company permission for me to be part of the group photo and then they were able to use it within their communications which included Facebook, I absolutely hate the way I look and quite frankly felt at that time).
 
Mine was taken in the hallway of my old house and I have lived in my current home 6 years so it is somewhere between 6 and 15 years old. Maybe it is time to change.
 
mine is 1,5 years... my hair is much longer now, the grays are much more noticeable specially because I don't feel like going to the hairdresser...but I like this photo, it's pre pandemic and it makes me feel good!

Actually now that I look at my avatar properly, it was done during MOC in 2018 cause I was 30 at the time (why else would there be a giant 30 on my avatar?), I’ll be turning 34 this year so probably high time to get a new photo of me this year.
 
Looks like this one is from January of 2018 -- I took it because it was shortly after getting my haircut and I liked the way it was styled and wanted to remember it. Up until pandemic, I've been having it pretty much the same since. Now it's gotten so long (for me) that I'm trying to encourage the curls I had when I was in high school, but they don't seem to be cooperating and I just look like I have perpetual bed head. :)
 
My profile picture is 3.5 years old and I use it for all my social media. I made it in May 2017 (in my garage, with a tripod) to replace the previous photo that was also 3 years old. But it was less the age than the fact I had changed my haircut drastically in February 2017 that pushed me to update it. Today I look pretty much the same as I did in 2017; more gray perhaps. I haven't been getting such great haircuts anymore since the hairstylist who did my hair in 2017 and 2018 moved across the country (How dare she? ;) but after a couple pandemic home haircuts earlier in 2020, I have been back to the salon twice since then.

I actually just took a self portrait an hour ago for Clickinmoms Project 52. The week 1 prompt is always Self Portrait. I like how well the photo represents me right now, but don't want to replace my profile image at this time.

Mine is old... from 2012. I think it was possibly my oldest kindergarten year? I had a good hair day and just keep using it. Lol. Plus I am so rarely the subject of photos since I'm the only one who takes pictures around here. My hair is a LOT longer right now and I wear glasses too, so it doesn't even look much like me anymore. But, I feel like it's been my avatar for so long that people might not know who I am if I change it. :giggle
