How many books?

excluding all the kids books that I read, I would be at the grand total of 1 book this year so far! Which is terrible, I used to read a lot.

over 50 lol does that mean i am a total nerd??
i like to escape into my books well cept when they are true crime LOL i dont want to be in those lol

I read a lot too - some weeks I read 3 or 4... but then I'll go a week or 2 without reading. I probably average 5-10 a month. I'm in a book club with a bunch of moms and it's a great way to try new stuff - I've read quite a few that I otherwise wouldn't have picked up.

Found ya on GoodReads Tania! I like it! Great place to keep track of the books I get recommended... but as for me reviewing books, I'm not so great... I like it or it was boring is about as creative as I'm probably going to get! :)

Yeah, I don't have anything profound to say in the reviews either, I just like clickin the stars, LOL.

wow ladies you are good!

I usually do read a lot but had lots going on this year so far that i havent been able to get inti anything but i need to load up my ereader and start again now any recomendations but something light and easy to get me into it

Lol! this is me too! I love to read but I get too immersed and never put books down so I haven't been reading at all this year!

Hmmm, that's a good question. I read at least one a week, sometimes more. I'm on Good reads but as I remember books I've read in the past I add them, so, I haven't really kept track.

I am such a nerd - I've been keeping track of books I've read since I was a kid LOL! :) This year I've read about 20 so far and I've just discovered audiobooks and I'm on my 6th one this month. I drive about an hour to work so it's been a nice distraction - but could turn into another expensive habit. The reader in me thinks I'm cheating, though! LOL!

I'm on Goodreads, too. I think I'm Robin Cabana there.

I've read about ten or so. I started the Outlander series but got stuck on the second book and didn't finish it - it was dragging! Anyone who has read it - does it get better? I was bored with the historical stuff.

It does get better! Promise. :)

I'm on #34 so far on my Kindle, but that doesn't count the business books I'm reading. My husband has challenged me to read something that will teach me something (big eye roll), and thus far, I've stalled out on chapter 8 of The E-Myth Revisited. LOL!

Tania...just sent you a friend request on GoodReads :)

Now Amy, why in the world would you want to read a book that TEACHES you something??? :lmao Reading is supposed to be an escape, not an extension of work. LOL!

According to my handy-dandy list on GoodReads, I've read a whopping 7 books this year. But that is just since June when I started back up reading. I go in fits and starts with reading. I am a HUGE mystery lover. Right now, I'm plowing my way through Elizabeth George's novels. I'm on #8, In the Presence of the Enemy.

I'm an avid reader and was born with a freakish speed reading skill. According to my Kindle downloads, I've read 163 books so far this year. I pretty much read a book every day (late at night when my family is asleep!). Thank goodness for the top 100 free at Amazon. LOL

I am up to 15. I reread all the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series as well. Now, I'm working on A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Holy Moly!! You must be a great speed reader. I need to check out the free list at amazon again. and read the couple I have already picked up....

I've read 146 this past year. I'm no speed reader but I don't work so I have all the time in the world after housework and such.
