How do you 'take' your steak? lol!!

I'm cooking steak in the oven.. yeah, you can boo me now...lol!! But since we moved, we haven't put a deck up yet.. and winter in Alberta is here....:td Too cold for this wimp to go out right now...

So, my question is.. how do you 'take' your 'steak'?

Me, I like it med well, but in the restaurant, I say well as they don't know how to get rid of 'blood' it seems.....:hissy:hissy:giggle
 
DUDE I didn't even know you could cool steak in the oven! I take my steak Med. Well I would eat it with a little blood but not totally rare YUCK!
 
I cook mine slow with lots of spices, Micheline!! It isn't bbq but heck, it will do! I've done salisbury steak too, in there!!
 
I'm eating it now, very tender.... .. it was still a tad frozen, so had the moisture coming out while cooking... hubby, says it is awesome!! I really watch when I'm cooking so I don't overdo it.. kwim?

Medium rare! And now I really really want a steak... I've been living with vegetarians for this past week. I need my meat!
 
I like mine burnt and smokin LOL! I am probably the only person that likes their meat chewy:giggle
 
I go for medium well or medium, preferably from a restaurant or off the grill. I've never cooked one myself!
 
Medium well. A tiny bit pink in the middle is perfect for me. And I cook steak in the oven during the winter months! It's really good done in a roasting pan with some sliced tomatoes and onions on top. They turn out almost like mini roasts.
 
i just love steak and enjoy it cooked any and all ways - LOL - but my favorite is medium rare/medium ... yummmmmmmmy ...
 
I don't eat beef.... haven't in near on 20 years... I don't like it and frankly once I stopped eating steaks and burgers I felt better... but that's just me...
 
medium rare. I have some marinating in bags in the freezer right now. I'll be home Monday for dinner, so I'm sure that's what we'll be having. I have my son bbq it for me outside, but yeah...it's rarely ever too cold to bbq here.
 
I take mine medium rare. I like it slightly bloody and juicy lol. If I can't cook steak on the BBQ I do it in my Crockpot that is if I'm planning on eating steak if I have the time to do that. I shouldn't say steak though because I only eat filet mignon (guess that would mean I'm a little picky about my meat)
 
I like it medium - pink inside. DH likes medium rare. He cooked steak in the oven last night for us too, and it was all red inside. I had to make him put mine back in!
 
Chantal, how do you do it in the crock pot?

I like mine medium well/well done. I have an irrational fear of undercooked meat.

Darn...now I want some streak lol. I like mine medium rare/medium.

I wanna know how to cook steak in the crock pot too!!
