How do you organize your PL templates?

I'm doing a huge sort out at the moment and 95% of the stuff is easy to sort into folders etc but I'm wondering how you guys sort templates for PL cause I have no ideas

They have there own sub folder on my hard drive inside my Lilypad folder

I use the ones in Jaimee's storyteller for that month, all month long, because I know if I have to actually THINK about what template to use, I'll take forever. (This is also why I use her kits all month, so I limit what supplies I have to decide between. :giggle )

I have templates from many different designers which makes it harder - I guess I'm finding it harder cause with normal templates you could sort by number of photos but I guess with PL ones its a bit harder cause all the squares could have photos

I actually don't sort mine out. When I do a book, I like a consistent look, so I want to use only templates from the same set (plus it narrows down my choices so I don't have as many decisions to make). I keep mine together just by the "set" it's a part of.... like for example... all of Amy's Project Grids are grouped together in one master folder. I do keep each subset in its own folder as well, since after working with them for a while, I know basically what is in each set and I find it easier to go to that subfolder and find what I need vs. scrolling through one large folder with lots of stuff in it.

If I liked mixing and matching templates more, I would probably organize differently but since I like to work within sets, this works well for me.

Until I did my big sort out I was only using one collection of templates cause I didn't see the rest so thats my dilemma - how to organize so that I know what I have cause knowing me I will have some that are super similar and not realise

I have a Project Life/DYD folder on my desktop. In it I have several subfolders which are fairly specific to pocket scrapping.

Templates_12x12.
Templates_6X12.
Templates_cards.

I also have my Calendar cards in there:
cards_days.
cards_months.
cards_weeks.
calendars_other.
dates_only

And finally I have a folder in there for
DYD/Christmas.
Project_mouse
Paper (neutral go-to packs).

Other templates and products are organized more traditionally, but I had to separate these so it was easy to find each week.
