How do you decide what kits to buy?

I scrap so randomly too that as long as I can picture me scraping more than one page with the kit, and if it inspires me RIGHT THEN to WANT to play, then it'll normally wind up in my cart.

this is me too - i was scrolling thru this thread going ' what? no one else looks at word art first?' - i guess i have gotten lazier about using alphas and lining them up (even with actions - its the whole dragging them in and spelling long titles) - word art is easier during the layout process and while browsing the shop gets my brain searching thru my mental database of photos i've taken over the years; otherwise it's the 'vibe' of the element pack - if i basically want to use 75% of whats in there at some point, i want the kit! (that doesnt always help here though - i can see myself using ALL the stuff)

Template decisions are a whole other matter entirely!

YES! I just went to my Old Lilypad folder and there they were! I thought maybe I just had Kate Hadfield's name in my head and that it wasn't right, but there it is! Heavy Duty Staples What Katie-Did's! Oh.. these need to be remade. Shadowed and non-shadowed and all sorts of ways including tears. Love those! Thank you for the confirmation that I wasn't just proposing.. ? transposing! Transposing her name onto it! :D
 
That is a fact!! I wish there was a way to spell what you wanted to spell with the alpha's open and they would magically appear on the page LOL!!!

Dangit!!! That makes me sad they're not available anymore!!! Staples, prongs and brads oh my LOL!!!

I bet you there's SOME way to get the designers to make more of these! They're INCREDIBLY valuable. I'm STILL trying to find all my old layouts. :( But I know I had those and these jumbo acrylic alpha that were AMAZING and on like 80% of my pages... which are.. who knows where. Those are gone too. :cry
